The Orlando Magic fell 98-118 to the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday night. Takeaways were light and few in a game that the Magic simply never were in.
The Pelicans had 31 fast break points at the half, and even with that aspect slowed the Magic were unable to hit shots nor get back in the game.
With Evan Fournier having re-aggravated his heel injury and
suffering a thumb sprain, the problems may continue to pile up…

We also (try to) look at what can be salvaged in the remaining 38 games and what Orlando can do to build some positive momentum. There simply has to be some silver lining, but with Orlando losers of eight of its past 10 and now a full 10-games below .500, they are getting harder and harder to find.
We won’t re-hash Episode 1 by talking about the (next) rebuild, but we do look at what Orlando can do with the remainder of its season, whether it be making a surge to the playoffs or returning to the lottery for the fifth-year straight.
